Our local library had a book sale and of course they had it while I was broke:( But I did manage to pick up some gems. At $1.00 a book it was easy to find a couple I would enjoy.

The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan --- I love Amy Tan's books. I have not read this one yet so I am looking forward to diving in.
Winter of Discontent by Jeanne M. Dams-- Well I was very excited over this book until I read the reviews on Amazon. I have never read any books by this author and I hoping that this book will not be a disappointment like the reviewers say.
Faces of Fear by John Saul-- I took my youngest to the doctor the other day and the billing manager and I figured out we both loved reading and Twilight. After telling her that one of my favorite authors is Stephen King she told me I had to read John Saul. She is not the first to tell me that so when I saw this book on the table I picked it up. Again, it got not so good reviews on Amazon. I am hoping I did not pick up one of his bummers. I need a cell phone with internet so I can consult Amazon before spending my money, lol.
No Angel by Penny Vincenzi-- I have never heard of this Author or this book. But when I opened it up inside the flap in great big red bold letters was this " It's not a sin but it is so good it should be". That is my type of book, lol. I didn't even check Amazon over this one, I wanted to be surprised.

Not a bad run and I may go back later on this week and see what new books they have put out:)
